Compensation and equity

It's really important that everyone at Glitch understands their compensation for the amazing work they're doing.

Salary Transparency

Starting in 2017, we made our salary ranges for all our roles visible internally. We've talked a bit about this process publicly, but the goal is simple: You should know you're being paid fairly compared to your peers, both inside the company and out in the industry, and that there's no guesswork about your compensation.

This also helps us reduce or remove overhead from managing compensation, and eliminate negotiation as a necessary part of compensation. In regards to recruiting; new employees know what they will earn, and don't have to go through the stress of negotiating with a company when they're just establishing a relationship with us.

Employees have access to the salary transparency spreadsheet Lock . Please note this is only for sharing internally right now.

Equity

We think it's only fair that employees should have a stake in the company's success. So we have a generous stock option plan that every employee can participate in, and we've extended the exercise window as long as possible to give everyone maximum flexibility.
We did a lot of work on this in 2018, so check out the links below and feel free to ping Jordan or Liz in slack with any questions!
