How to fail

Good fail

You make reasonable assumptions to how to solve a challenge, you execute well, and still, you fail.

This is either because your assumptions were false or because you did not know something. This is a very helpful fail because you just created a data point from which we learn and become better for the next challenge.

Bad fail

  • You don't make assumptions
  • you don't have a success plan that works at least on a piece of paper
  • You execute poorly

This is a bad fail because you cannot learn from that failure.
