Gym & Wellness

Glitch will reimburse up to $150 a month towards the gym or wellness activity of your choice. This benefit is generally for employees only, but if you have a "family" membership, you can submit that as an expense.

To expense simply submit your receipt through  Abacus.com .

Note: because this is a taxable benefit it will NOT be paid through Abacus. The expense will be denied in Abacus with a note saying it will be paid out on your next paycheck.

Expenses will be paid within a couple weeks of submission. You'll see a bonus on your paycheck, with some taxes deducted.

We'd prefer it if you submitted your expenses each month. You can create an expense in Abacus and then add additional receipts by clicking the Add Receipt link.

We realize that employees work out in many different ways. Some prefer the privacy of their own home while some of you may prefer the typical gym chain with all the perks. Our goal of a gym reimbursement program is to support employees in their goal to be active and healthy.

Our Policy will include the following types of programs to be eligible for reimbursement:
  • Gym, fitness center/studio, health club, citibike, swim & tennis club memberships and fees,
  • Fitness and nutrition counseling,
  • Fitness and sports classes/lessons,
  • Personal trainer sessions,
  • Martial arts instruction,
  • Yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes.

There are so many different types of health programs available. If you have a question, please reach out and we will discuss any requests with you to determine if it is eligible for reimbursement under this policy.
