6 month career development session

How to use this doc

Make a copy of this doc and bookmark it. For the first session, ask your employee to spend some time filling out as much of this doc as they can. Ask them to complete it 24 hours before your meeting so you have time to review it. In the meeting, talk through each point, and make a note of action items at the end that you’ll commit to working on over the next 6 months.

While we call this a 6 month career development session, your employee can take notes continually over time. You can check in every 3 months, every 6 months, or however often you feel is needed to stay on track for your goals.
